Ground clearance is usually measured in the lowest point of the vehicle. Halos same lang sila lahat. Hindi naman nagkakalayo. Pero mas mababa nga ang side sill (rocker panels) ng Forester. It's like the body is wrapped around the mechanical bits as opposed to being on top of things.

Mas mahirap talaga makakuha ng mataas na rating sa IIHS. The crashes are faster and the impacts are offset. At least hindi lang NHTSA ang pwede pagkunan ng data.

ground clearance ng escape = 8.2 inches, forester = 8.1...so there's not much of a difference there. plus the forester will get out of bogs a lot better due to subaru's superior AWD system. this is not just speculation on my part, as i 've driven both vehicles through some of the worst weather and road conditions. if you get the XT, you'll also have the added bonus of sports car performance.

Wanna bet also? Saka hindi ako buy and sell. Ang 10 years old na sasakyan dito para pa din bago. 1997 pa yung MB100 dito. Yung Starex mag-4 years na in a few months. Nasa pag-aalaga lang iyan. And take note, walang casa maintained dito. Mang Mario, Mang Rudy Banawe, DIY, etc. lang. Operating expenses are at par or even lower than the Japanese vehicles here. Btw, the MB100 is our most used vehicle. Almost Monday to Sunday ang gamit. Walang coding coding. Lahat ng malayong biyahe sa kanya din naka-toka.
