Ground clearance is usually measured in the lowest point of the vehicle. Halos same lang sila lahat. It's like the body is wrapped around the mechanical bits as opposed to being on top of things.

*check the CRASH TEST
Speaking of crash test results :hihihi:
2007 IIHS Crash Test Results
coughs* ehem ehem...
Here's my Top 5
1. Subaru Forester XT/STi (SG5/SG9) '03 up models
2. Mitsubishi Outlander JDM (2007)
3. Honda CRV JDM (2007)
4. Hyundai Santa Fe (2007)
5. Ford Escape / Mazda Tribute
The crashes are faster and the impacts are offset.

*medyo mababa lang yung Subaru Forester, wagon talaga cant be categorized as SUV...
*FORD ESCAPE pa rin:bouncealt::peace:
kung kasing taas lang sana nung Forester yung Escape ey hindi ako magdadalawang isip yon kunin...teka, pwede ba pataasan yong Forester?
Wala ng atrasan, i'm definitely for Sta Fe nah. Superior red and aiming for V6 kasi diesel na my current car.![]()
not to offense, Hyundai Cars are good if its new..but it will never last 3 or 4 yrs...nway that time pwede mo na ibenta saka bili ng bago...yun nga lang maliit ang selling value
ground clearance ng escape = 8.2 inches, forester = 8.1...so there's not much of a difference there. plus the forester will get out of bogs a lot better due to subaru's superior AWD system. this is not just speculation on my part, as i 've driven both vehicles through some of the worst weather and road conditions. if you get the XT, you'll also have the added bonus of sports car performance.![]()
Wanna bet also?Saka hindi ako buy and sell. Ang 10 years old na sasakyan dito para pa din bago. 1997 pa yung MB100 dito. Yung Starex mag-4 years na in a few months. Nasa pag-aalaga lang iyan. And take note, walang casa maintained dito. Mang Mario, Mang Rudy Banawe, DIY, etc. lang. Operating expenses are at par or even lower than the Japanese vehicles here. Btw, the MB100 is our most used vehicle. Almost Monday to Sunday ang gamit. Walang coding coding.
