with a decent 14.5 km/liter fuel consumption im gettin with my pizza, do you guys think i could get the same from that of the EX?
eto kc main consideration ko e, fuel economy..btw, can anyone provide me with 1999 ex saloon's basic specs and features? efi na ba to?

salamat ng marami mga tsikoteers! (please, im beggin) =)

The 1.4 Ex Saloon (EFI, 95hp) m/t will do around 10-11km/L at the average based on what i hear. Power is quite good for a 1400; it can run with the 1600s on the highway.

It has power windows, locks and steering but no power mirrors.

i think highway driving fuel consumption of ex saloon is between 13-15 km/l
    city driving is 9-10 km/l

tnx mga tol! actualy yung 14.5 km/l ko with my pizza e galing sa ganitong
daily driving : 25% city and 75% expressway so medyo maganda consumption. iniisip ko that with EX, i'd get the same. optimistic. hehe

Beside from having a cooler aircon, yes you can get that 14km/li mileage from a sentra exsaloon if regularly maintained and tuned. And to make this pre-owned sentra efficient, you'll have to start from scratch and spend time and money to revitalize it.

i think neither the EL nor the GL Lancer can be more fuel efficient than the Sentra EX 1400 efi...had one before...sobrang tipid sa gas. anyway, yung 14.5km/l mo naman pala is from 25% city and 75% hwy driving eh....

i can get as high as 11km/l from city driving alone in my Sentra EX before...

Right on, ganda nyan pag nalagyan mo gts body kits. 14km/li on a lancer? I suppose that it's a 1.3 liter engine.

I like the EX model for a commuter car.

The rear suspension is a simple design with not much to go wrong. This also allows for a bigger trunk. The a/c is cold. The dashboard and door panels seems to be made out of better stuff than the Lancer's (my cousin had a GLi Pizza before moving onto a 316i).

The driving experience is not exhilirating but you'll get to where you're going.
