Hello po sa inyo! I'm a graduating HS student. BTW i'm 17yrs. old already and will get a non-pro after graduating... Since malapit na ang graduation at sure naman na gragraduate ako ^_^ hehe can I have some advice on what would be the best car for me. It should be:

a.) FAST. (This is the top priority like other teen drivers out there ^.^)
b.) Room for the barkada (Yung comfortable ung 5 persons)
c.) Good FC (Medyo hindi na priority gaano even though i'll be the one na gagastos sa gas kasi nakakahiya naman sa parents ko na sila gumastos tapos ako gumagamit :D,)
d.) Safe (good handling lang and well built ok na, kahit walang airbag I use seatbelt naman palagi kahit sa loob ng village namin)

I'm not planning on tuning it heavily since i'll be using it daily and doesn't have enough money for mods.
TIA!

for you guidance lang iho if granted a car at your (young) age...absolutely no failing grades for a start, no extension of terms in your course (if 4 years stick to it), apply for a job after finishing your course then buy your car with your hard-earned money...definitely sarap ng feeling ng ganun hindi lang ikaw pati parents mo.

if sumablay ka in one of those conditions, don't you think sayang naman ang sasakyan ipinagkaloob ng mababait na parents mo not unless they don't mind or your family can very much afford it w/o imposing certain restrictions...good for you and goodluck!

Agree! study hard, work agad and hard enough so you could land a good promotion and get the car of your dreams! If you will be given a car right after high school, I suggest you get something that wouldn't cost your rents so much. I suggest you ask for that money and save it in a bank instead. You don't really need a car that much especially if your parents have one (or two). ;-)

    Matrix ? Hahahahahaha.

    - Panget.
    - Mausok.
    - Walang kwentang wipers. - opposing na nasisira
    - Mahal maintenance ( CRDi eh. Duh, obviously mas mahal maintenance vs. gas vehicles )

His parents probably don't want him to be inconvenienced with commuting. Also if he has his own car he will be less abala to the people around him eg pahatid or pasabay. If he goes on a night out, the parents won't be worried about how he'll be going home. Plus his friends without cars will be the one depending on him rather than him depending on others for a ride. Owning a car also teaches him how to be responsible.

orderbayad, what college or university are you attending ba?

punta ka doon and check out the cars of the students

that will give you an idea what car papabili mo

baka puro brand new/late model/tuner cars nakapark doon

para di ka out-of-place, at least FD civic pabili mo. padagdag mo yung 400T budget

A college boy driving his own car teaches nothing..maybe it teaches him how to drive fast and park in tight places but nothing that will equip him to be a more productive person in his future. Mas mabuti pa ma experience niya mag commute at mag paka simple. Imagine if a student commutes everyday, then one day may project sa bahay, pag punta ng mga classmates niya dami palang auto.

If the parents can afford to buy and maintain the car, why not. Responsibility pa rin naman ng magulang na turuan ng tama yung anak with regards to owning a car or any thing with value at that.

Ultimately, owning a car has its pro's and con's depending not only on the individual, but also to the parents that will guide the racer, este ricer, este driver pala. hehehe
