Thanks for the inputs guys, ok tlaga tong site. Bale family car na rin kse kya I prefer a 2.0L big bodied car. Beyond budget ko na rin BMW ska mahal ata maintenance nun dahil sa brand. Cefiro nman masyado executive looking. Yung Galant VR6 97 kaya ok din ba?

To mbt: Malaki ba difference maintenance ng accord and corona? can you give me a more specific comparison when it comes to expenses to include na rin yun wear and tear?

To Chris d: how many kms ka ba per liter on a city driving dun sa accord mo?

    adlerharvey,

tinapon na namin yung records ng corona e, pero pareho naman silang very reliable. yung naalala kong pinapalitan sa corona mga usual lang, radiator overhaul, clutch, usual consumables. nag wear out din yung ibang suspension parts at engine support at muffler support yata, but this was already when the car was 7 or 8 or so years old. etc.

yung accord halos ganun din, mahal lang talaga pag may masira na unusual part. nasira yung speed sensor ng accord namin dati, mga 5,000 ata yung bago, but i snagged a salvaged one from a civic hatchback (identical naman) for 1,200 hehe.

mas makakamura ka talaga sa maintenance kung hindi ka sa casa magpapagawa or use aftermarket replacements where you can safely do so. for example, you can use aftermarket brake pads instead of OEM pads at a fraction of the cost. kahit yung mga piyesa na pang overhaul ng starter or stuff pwede nang generic parts ang gamitin (again, at a fraction of the cost).

PORMA-wise go for accord saka mataas padin ang resale value nya (for a 2.0L class)
MONEY-wise go for exsior... mura talaga mga part eh...

suggestion: since the choice ur having are both 2.0L then try look for a galant... but MANUAL transmission... astig din

Seriously, I had the pleasure to dive an Accord VTI a couple of years ago. It's a drivers car. But, like what nikko had mentioned above, the Exsior is a well built car. I think your decision should not only be based on technical specs and performance, but on your own taste and personal interests as well.

City+Highway driving sa Accord 95 A/T around 8-9km/l. May kasama nang hataw mode to na umaabot sa 160kph...

Maganda placing ng controls at ergonomics sa Accord, the interior is well done. Plus no rattles or squeaks anywhere on our car, no matter how rough the road is.

Suspension... para sa akin ok lang, maganda sya pang spirited/sporty driving. I like the bouncy suspension of our old car though... hehe (sira na kc shocks, gusto ko medyo soft yung ride)

Naalala ko tuloy one time sa C-5 I kinda flew over one of the bridges at 100kph and hit my head on the headliner... nde naman nag bottom out yung suspension, so plus rin yun.

I do notice pag full load yung car at mabigat yung likod mas maganda yung bounce, nde masyado matagtag(tama ba ung term?, hehe).

ang madali lang masira sa corona is its suspension bushings, the worst, wala kang mabibiling bushing na orig,if you want orig, then you have to get the whole suspension arm assy, pero ok lang din naman kahit replacement.matibay din naman suspension nya.
