97 corolla gli or 97 lancer glxi?

please advise mga sirs.newbie lang and wala akong alam sa cars.im planning to buy my first car next month and im choosing between 97 corolla gli or 97 lancer glxi. alin mas madali maintenance tsaka mas mura parts?

Between the two, I think the Corolla would be the safer choice. I believe it has a better track record(quality and availability of parts).

The newer 1998(late'97) AE111 Corolla would be a better choice, its got dual airbags and ABS.

Being pre-owned, depende iyan sa condition ng unit itself. So pick one in relatively good condition. Kahit Toyota or Honda, kung balahura naman ang previous owner, bale wala din.

salamat sa mga advice mga sir.actually 1st choice ko din ang corolla kasi madami daw parts available tsaka mura lang. ano ba mga kailangan tignan at icheck sa corolla pag bibili ng used car?

test drive!...check for kalampags, langitngit, vibration, wiggling, kabig, aircon, transmission feel, ugong ng makina, functionality of equipment (lights, audio, dash speedometer, etc.)
