February 24th, 2015 07:52 PM #1Hi. These are the cars that I am choosing for the mean time.
Mirage G4 GLX AT.
Mirage Hatchback GLS MT/AT
Nakita ko sya both pero hindi ko talaga masyadong maassess kung gano kalaki difference sa space ng cabin, Malaki po ba difference nila sa trunk? or halos pareho lang sa legroom?
Swift 1.2 AT
Grand i10 E 1.0 AT
BRIO AMAZE 1.3 MT and BRIO S AT/MT
Eto po ang purpose ng car.
City Driving especially going to work everyday.
Paminsan minsan out of town with famliy.
I have two kids. one 3 year old boy and one 8 year old skinny girl and my wife. Syempre space for yaya or one more relative.
Questions:
Sino pinakamahal pagdating sa PMS? at tuwing kelan po ito how much estimate? every 6 months po ba?
Leaning towards mirage for FC based on feedback here. Can you please rank them according to FC?
Sa amenities po parang okay ang i10?
1.0 vs 1,2? big difference po ba?
Gaano kahalaga ang FOGLAMPS? Can you live without it.

February 24th, 2015 08:09 PM #2I think the G4 would be best for family use. Mas roomy kaysa sa Mirage hatch (not sure by how much), importante kung lima kayong sasakay. You will also probably need the storage space a sedan's trunk can offer vs. the rear compartment of most hatchbacks (though medyo malaki din yung sa Grand i10). And from what I've read here, good value for money naman daw talaga yung Mirage, especially if FC is a consideration

February 24th, 2015 08:22 PM #3G4 for me. Malaki ang trunk. Tapos ang discount nya di nagkakalayo sa mirage hatch. Ok sana grand i10 pero ang mahal

G4 is your best bet kung may family ka. Limited ang space ng mga hatch lalo na kung hindi 60-40 split type ang likod.

given the number of members in the family (4) plus the yaya I also believe that a subcompact sedan will only be acceptable for a couple of years.
for a hatch, you may find yourself needing to put some of the baggages on the lap of your rear passengers.
if you can afford another car in 3-5 years, i'd recommend the G4 GLS or a vios J (if you can live with its bareness but it has a 4 cylinder engine)
but if this will be your only car for 5 years and beyond, better choose a more family oriented car like the avanza, ertiga, or the spin.
another option would be delay your purchase for a couple of months and and opt for an innova
