Offerings like the Hilux E and Innova J are really good value for money if you can live with a manual. The vast majority of people I know who buy cars either cannot or will not drive a manual.

Toyota sold the 9th J model Altis with an A/T when they first introduced this (2001-02). This was soon removed and i speculate it was because it was cannibalizing sales of the mid range E then.
