    I have a 330=350T budget for a van....

so far I found 2 options... (pls enlighten me)

    1. 2005 versa van
    - intact body
    - 70T mileage
    - aircon is fair but can't competer w/ the starex

    2. 2001 Starex
    - intact body
    - cool aircon but have improvised a switch for aircon control
    - vents options in front are not fully functional.. wala na yun para sa paa
    - 80T mileage

San po mas sulit? Alin po pipiliin nila? thanks

Starex. But not that particular unit you've found.

    At 80TKms,

    this should not be present

    - cool aircon but have improvised a switch for aircon control
    - vents options in front are not fully functional.. wala na yun para sa paa
unless, previously or currently pinapa-rentahan ng may-ari yung van (could be because..) i know of someone in the rent a van business. ang laging nagiging problema nila sa mga van nila, is yung mga switches na sira sa AC dahil sa mga makukulit na renters na bukas/sara, lakas/hina ng AC, busted door knobs(?)/openers, sagging seats etc.

Generally, 80TKms cars should still be comparably fresh inside and out if taken good care by owners and users. Unless, tampered ang odo.

    just imho

Hanggang dun na lang talaga ang budget? or may allowance pa? Stay away from both of those units. The L300 sucks. It's like buying a van, though only five years old, looks, drives, rides, and feels exactly like or even worse than a van of twenty years ago. And with that particular unit, 70t kms is a high mileage indeed for a vehicle that is just five years old. As for the Starex, the price really is quite low for a 2001 model but I'd stay away from something that you'd still have to repair, at kung magka-magkano pa ang ibabayaran mo para ipaayos yan. BTW, is it the facelifted version with intercooler already? Here are some units for you to compare and consider.

not to be biased on the particular brand w/c my avatar shows but...definitely Starex is highly recommended as compared to L300, w/ all the features and added amenities to suit your needs as well as engine performance w/ cheap parts available in the market same w/ L300...just be ready to shell out some more moolah if you want an upgraded old version - w/ the intercooler 2000 model is perfect for your family

Starex pa din, sobrang sablay yang L300 VV. I was also in your predicament a few months ago when I was looking for a service van for the office. Our budget was around 350-400k, ang problema lang halos lahat ng Starex na nakita ko laspag na masyado, eventually ended up with a 98 Spacegear (local unit) yan lang kasi yung nakita kong matino na pasok sa budget, so far were happy with it naman.

Starex, but look for a diff. unit that offers less work for your side.

Si JEW lang yata magvvote for the L300 VV. :rofl01:

yun lang po nahanap ko na medyo current ang year model.. though I found a 1998 spacegear -local - w/ 60T mileage... maganda din pero I heard bad stories of spacegears's aircon....

The owner also informed me na twice na nya pinalitan ang compressor kasi di daw malamig..

ok po ba mga spacegear? isn't it the same w/ versa van since same engine & maker sila?

how about yun mga Imported starex at 300T?

Duon ako sa Starex. Change all the underchassis parts and it's like brand new. My friend simply spend more than a 100T and it runs smoothly like new. Check if the interiors and engine is good before anything else. In any option pinakamaganda underchassis lang problema at walang mga body repairs. Good luck tignan mo maigi body at makina. Yung iba madali na.
