Best buy AUV/SUV for the price of P300k?
Major considerations are space and reliability. Fuel economy not so much as this will be used once a week.
Looking at Revo or Pajero. Crossing out Adventure.

if you want a "real" suv, go with a Terrano![]()
the gas version is pretty quick. no other complains except for high FC (swerte ka na maka 6km/ltr city). if i were you i would get a gas variant (which is sold cheaper than the diesel one because of FC issues nga, thus mas madaming "sariwa") and swap out the engine for the TD27s diesel. albeit dog-slow, FC is noticeably improved and you got a tank for cheapyou can do this for 320k i think (including labor and etc).
Thanks. I prefer stock and I have no intentions of tinkering with the engine. I'll consider the Terrano gas then.
except for the FC, no issues thenreally timeless look for me throughout these years. we got the diesel variant so i cannot comment on the gas though (based lang sa kakilala and relative sa cebu na malakas nga sa gas). the terrano is tough and 140kph on the gas variant is easy, but sa diesel the engine screams (literally).

how about including 99' Honda CRV in your options?would you mind?
don't mind the REVO, my aunt sell off her revo because of poor FC.
revo nalang sir. sa 300k kasi pajero na subic makukuha ninyo or yung local na boxtype. pero since once a week lang gamet ok na gas variant. adventure gas variant ok din madami sariwa kc bihira gamitin
Get a Revo diesel, gas guzler yung gas type. even if minsan lang ang gamit. pero once you sell it talo ka sa resale. Thats according to my buy/sell friend.![]()
Hi lander kaya?

Here are some choices for your budget (in no definite order):
1. Toyota Revo Diesel (1998-2001) - a lot of them in the 2nd hand market
2. Mitsubishi Adventure Diesel (1997/1998-2000) - a lot of units in the 2nd hand market
3. Isuzu Hilander
4. Nissan Terrano
5. Honda CR-V (first gen) - do avoid imported units (can be noticed by a different mag wheels and the placement of the license plate)
6. Toyota RAV4 (first gen) - avoid imported units (plates start with "R" or "B")
7. Mitsubishi Pajero (box type version fits your budget)
How about vans such as the Toyota Liteace, Nissan Vanette, Mazda MPV (local unit), and the Hyundai Starex? These vans fit your budget.
One thing, avoid imported units- especially the ones from Cagayan and Subic.
Get the Starex nalang. The Millenium look is really nice, IMO better looking than the GRX, the Turbo Intercooler engine gives ample power and it comfortably seats 10 in style.
for 300 i will probably get a revo. sport runner edition.
forget the pajero generation 1... medyo matanda na ito marami ka na papa ayos.
pajero gen 2... pwede, pero mahirap maghanap ng local na matino sa 300. maybe 380.
converted vehicles are not all bad... nasa pagtingin yan at pagpili ng maayos. to be on the safer side, pick out something that's been used everyday that has an X plate. these are first generation converted imports... sa tagal na nila dito i'm sure napa ayos na ng mabuti mga ito.
crv 1st generation ok din. v.v. comfy inside and roomy. do not get import versions na may R or B plates. although yung iba na import orig lhd (north american market), super laspag mga ito.
safest talaga mga revo. technically, it's not an SUV, pero if you really need a rock-solid reliable vehicle, eto talaga. as in sakay lang ng sakay.
