Avanza cause parts are plenty. Kahit sa fb ka maghanap. Manual if new so you can practice your control at di ka magaya sa mga na SUA.
Xpander is still new so tali ka sa casa. Ertiga well, if you dont mind the beige interior, this is a great alternative to avanza.
But a beater car would be more perfect if new talaga sa driving.

avanza for me. maraming aftermarket support.
i always recommend manual first.
a driver who learns MT first, can learn AT very easily, just by instinct.
a driver who learns AT first, has difficulty learning MT.
and i recommend brand new.
it's hard enough learning how to drive. but learning how to drive with a car that can malfunction at any time...
Compare mo shifting nyan after 3 years, compare mo sa ka kilala mung Nka MT kung anu napalitan, compare mo interms of response... Experience will be the best teacher...![]()
I drive m/t most of the time.
Used to drive a seldomly maintained a/t honda city (pre cvt days) of old old man.
Di marunong mag maintain but was surprised na good shifting parin sya after his "abuse" or lack of maintenance. It developed a slight shift shock 2 or 3 yrs ago pero ayaw nya pagawa until he sold it.
I drive a friends 6 yrs old a/t pickup when we go out of town. No delay or shift problems.
Bottom line, boring ang a/t for my taste but old school a/t (not cvt, not dct) is reliable na.
