    Promos abound now. Based on my observation, car dealers offer good promos at the end of each quarter but it is usually June and December they offer the best discounts.

    Definitely the Civic! Beautiful car inside and out. Try to check out the ergonomics and finish of both interiors... and you will see the big plus of the Civic over the Altis.

    No contest bro. Civic price looks handling and (high tech) features I don’t see any advantage of the current Altis over the Civic. But... you may want to take a look at the Jetta or Golf GTS [emoji6]

    pag tinipid ako ng showroom sa test drive (meaning mga 300m lang total distance) or no test drive at all, di ako dun bibili [emoji16]

    Civic for style and ergonomics (depends on you). Civic RS has more power and torque (1.5 Li Turbo) than Altis V 2.0 Li.

    But for some reason reliability wise I still look on Toyota more than Honda. Example is painting chipping, there are more paint chipping issue on my 1 year in Honda than my 10 years on Toyota. Then the bolt on Civic RS air filter broke after one year (never had any broken bolt on Toyota). Then there is the battery life on brand new Honda which is mind bugling to me (1 year), in Toyota it took 3 years before my battery starts to show sign of failing.

    mind boggling ...

    Paint quality from a decade ago was thicker ... now companies are more environmentally aware and they reduce paint thickness and quality ...

    Battery longevity depends on usage ... and Honda nor Toyota aren't the ones who manufacture them ... but 1 year is rather early for a battery to conk out ...

    For the VW po kasi, Im still waiting for the Santana GTS by Nov tentative daw po.. Kaya din nga yata magulo isip ko dahil long term nasa isip ko. I want a car that stays with me for about a decade [emoji6]

    So civic wins as of the moment.. Hintay na lang po ako ng Ber month to finally decide hehe..salamat po sa mga suggestions at opinion mga sir!
