    The Civic FC is a better platform than the current Altis. Ask Jut, he had used both cars extensively.

    Check out the rear headroom of the altis. Disappointing, compared to the civic. I guess that falls within the category of "all other things"

    check out the head clearance, in the ingress and egress part.
    i have to bring down the altis's seat, so's my head don't get snagged.

    i don't honda.
    but, as egan above already said, jut does. he has/had both, with extensive mileage on both.
    he has already mentioned some of his thoughts between the two, somewhere here in tsikot.com.

    Before going through the tech details, have you met the 2 cars in person? Have you tried "feeling" both cars? This would be a pretty big factor when choosing.

    i had a previous car.
    it drove really nicely for me.
    but i gave her up, as she gargled (gas) like a teenager before his first date.
    (non-civic, non-altis.)
