yes that was a query for my son, convinced him to just used the Montero since he is in a flood prone area but made me promise to him to purchase a t86 as long as supply stabilized not bad since Gta is almost at 1.3 while the 86 is at 1.5.

In my opinion. Pajero newer technology, design, body and the price is also better. But the patrol will impose more presence it's bigger and better offroad coz it's based on ladder frame.

It think Pejero offers a better overall package.

I'd go with the Pajero as well. The Patrol SS feels dated inside.

My vote goes to the Pajero. Power wise, the Pajero feels more powerful & responsive. Aesthetic, my taste goes to the Pajero too. It feels like the Pajero's looks lasts longer as what the Field Master did (though I like the FieldMaster's look than the 2013's ). Anyway, you can't go wrong either of the too, just pick the vehicle which suits your needs and taste.

As a Patrol owner get a diesel and invest in a DPCHIP, and to keep your Patrol from looking dated please avoid those Banawe ricey mods like a Shiny 22" rims and super thin tires, the OEM look is good enough. Yes the Patrol looks tough and it is tough but the ride is also tough hehe.

Solid axles all around ang patrol. You can easily put a 6inch suspension lift on it to clear floodwaters. Last time na bumaha sa talayan, two newer model patrols with huge lifts, forded the waters on purpose.

Depende yan sa Patrol. If GU yan na diesel, di hamak na mas reliable ang Pajero, any generation pa

The newer GUs are quite reliable. The family has a 2005 GU 4x4 m/t and it's never had those ZD30 issues. When it was new, the clutch had problems (replaced the hydrovac under warranty) and then on one Baguio trip, nag safe mode due to water contaminated fuel (hanggang 3K rpm lang).

For long term ownership and utilitarian purposes, i'm still a Patrol believer but for creature comforts the Pajero will take the cake. What would i get between the two? It's a hard toss-up really but given my propensity to go for modifications, Patrol most likely.

I am a Pajero lover ever since pero nung nakita ko yung Nissan Patrol Safari Royale laglag brip ko eh!

It emits luxury that the Pajero cannot match and it really announces itself when it arrives just by its looks. Ooohh and that engine
