I already drive an Altis, but if given the choice to choose any TOTL compact right now, it would definitely have to be the Focus Sport+ Hatch.

Forgetting the after-sales support & price, I'd be taking home a Cruze any day. Next to it would be the EX then the Impreza.

Sayang. Would have picked the Impreza but the exterior styling doesn't appeal me anymore as compared to the previous Imprezas we had.

Elantra - ganda ng design parang sportcar na

Lancer - pwede na Evo style
Sentra - cheap executive
Impreza - subaru yan e WRC din

Without having seen them... I'd wager the new Focus hatch would be the more complete deal than the Impreza... What remains to be seen is if it drives better than the new Mazda3.

Cruze - probably the best cruiser
Altis - dated, but decent economy and comfort
Lancer - still ***y. Drives pretty good, lacks refinement
Mazda3 - Good looking and very sharp driving. Best handling at the moment (without having driven the Focus)
Elantra - best deal out there, even with Cruze for best space and ride, lacking the extra refinement of the Cruze, (current) Focus and Mazda3
Civic - tied with Cruze for best cruiser... better transmission than Cruze.

Sticking with the choices I'll pick the Focus if it's the only car in the stable for the family. I'd get the Impreza for my own selfish needs

I second this. Driving the Altis back to back with the 3 shows how these two cars, despite having similar power figures, are worlds apart when it comes to driving experience.

Hopefully the Focus drives at least as well as the Mz3.
