i love both of those cars, it's hard choice so just see how you'll use them. first of where are you? do you really need the off road capabilities of the jeep? will you use it often? if not, and only do mostly city/highway driving i'd get the XT. plus brand new is always better than 2nd hand especially if you're planning to keep it for 5 years.
