My suggestions would be
98 Mazda MPV 2.5 Turbodiesel MT (local unit)
Local versions are powered by Everest 2.5L pre-chambered diesel good for 110hp. Mated to a manual, that should be fun and frugal.
Also, local versions are feature packed. 4 captains chairs
dual airbags, ABS, dual AC, large foglamps, all power features including antenna retract.
this particular unit is asking for 270K on the net.
Nissan Terrano has the robust TD27 diesel shared with UMC's long running Urvan.
It has 4x4 drivetrain and adequate features for a 90s car.
This particular unit is asking for 278K
This are just some of the other choices aside from default Revo, Adventure, Crosswind suggestions.

February 2nd, 2012 10:30 PM #13Maganda sana ang Mazda MPV yun nga lang medyo rare siya locally, at kung meron man puro mga medyo may kalumaan na. The unit shown ay napaka-high mileage na at 170000kms old and has already been overhauled and recalibrated. Another option I'd recommend would be the Kia Carnival. Take heed to always stay away from the A/T versions dahil yang mismong matic transmission ang sakit niya. The manual version are much better and actually hold higher resale value than their matic counterparts. Ang Carnival ay swak na swak rin sa budget ng kaibigan mo, even more so actually than the Revo's Adventure's and Hilander's (Crosswind di papasok ). At meron na yang full host of safety features, 2.9L direct injection turbo intercooler engine, and a very smooth ride. Basta may abundant parts diyan sa lugar pasado na to!

February 3rd, 2012 02:41 PM #16Kung negative parin siya sa Carnival, looks like Revo and Adventure nalang ang pilian. Its just that the Carnival is so much more modern.

Salamat sainyo.Last edited by robot.sonic; February 3rd, 2012 at 02:54 PM.

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
