ei guys, what do you think of this model?
consumption, maintenance, availability & pricing of parts?
i'm downgrading kasi from my current safari which i need to sell to raise cash (downpayment for a condo we're getting)
i'm looking for a 'cheap' car that i can bring to meetings/shoots na me 'dating' pa din. cause after selling the safari i'll be stuck w/ a 95 corolla (it's the basic white w/ black bumpers model, and i always get flagged down when using this kasi mukhang taxi it's ok as a coding car)

the one i'm looking at is a 1.8 w/ 108t km odo, manual, looks loaded, 150k

if ever it'll be my first euro (car history:4japs,1 korean)

sir otep, pm me your email addy, i'll send you pics. don't wanna sell it nga, bago pa lang ako enjoy e. i'm hoping the bank over-appraises the property para the loan will cover the downpayment so i don't have to sell it. gotta have contingency though

E30 - great car. runs forever if maintained properly. still a head-turner after all these years.

pa-check mo lang yung internals, make sure it has a good maintenance history, and make sure it hasn't had an accident where the frame was damaged.

1.8L ba? M/T pa? Forget it. Slow, lakas sa gas (parang jap 2.0), tapos German m/t = weird shift feeling... yung parang hirap ka mag-shift tapos may delay.

The classic 3 series ... 'ganda pa rin.

Kaya lang, humihigop talaga ng gas yang M10 engine, mas matakaw pa kesa 2.8li ng BMW a generation later (E36).

a car that old is kinda scary. just my opinion. i mean any old car will have parts hard to come by. tapos bimmer pa! double-dead.

in my (useless) opinion an E36 would be the oldest bimmer worth using as a daily driver. older than that, collector ka na.

dagdag.. besides kung nasa 300k+ na yung price, mag E36 ka nalang. konti nalang dagdag, much nicer car.

For me, this is ok for a project car. It might take a lot to ensure it can be used as a daily driver.

It's a good car to have but check for the maintenance record. I'd get one if I have the extra 150k.
