    Kia Pride, cheap to acquire, cheap to maintain, cheap to repair. Although I did feel like a cabbie driving my cousin's white LX sedan (before it was restored). :lol:

    Pero pogi na ngayon with alloy wheels, new tint, sounds, anti-theft, etc.

    Nissan naman is bang for the buck. Kung hindi ka makakuha ng 1.6 Super Saloon, baka umabot ka pa din sa 1.4JX. 1.4 carb engine (1.3 lang sa iba), may rear seatbelts na, remote trunk release, excellent a/c (heater lang ang kulang, kumpleto lahat ng functions unlike sa Toyota), side door mouldings, moulded door panels (hindi pressed vinly na gamit ng Toyota), etc.

    But do set aside stuff from repairs. Sa Vitara lang, may mga kailangan ipagawa. Nasa Php20k lahat (piniga ko na iyan sobra, 100k PMS saka PS overhaul combined). Pero thinking about it, katumbas lang ng dalawang monthly payments nung Picanto iyon. Eh yung Picanto limang taon pang babayaran ng Php10k/month. hehehe. Yung Vitara debt free na. Medyo mahal din ang regular PMS ng Picanto kasi dapat sa casa. Yung PMS ng Vitara na hindi heavy kina Glenn ko lang pinapagawa, wala pang Php1000 ang light maintenance.
