it's actually a good question, from someone who's a total newbie on cars.
anyone who has experienced the steep slopes on the way up, will probably ask the same question... makakaya kaya ng wigo ito?
are we gonna give 'em a hand, or are we gonna shoo them away and admonish them to never bother me again?

does anyone remember the most shameful auto-related question he has asked, back when he was still an automobile ignoramus?
how does that question rate against asking if small engine cars can reach baguio ?
hey! that sounds like a nice thread to start!
    heh heh.

Accent for me. Given na traffic sa metro manila, i get more for my peso.
Mirage vs accent, driven both long term. I prefer the accent diesel.
Nothing beats the smoothness of a 4 banger. Accessories, u can always change after.

mitsubishi designed a car that overheats? major recall agad yan.

bro, a properly maintained cooling system will cool the engine sufficiently.

Tama na yang discussion about small engine cars and baguio/ tagaytay. Off topic na tayo. Hehehe

    My On-Topic reply:

Accent & Altis belongs in two different class. Accent is sub-compact while Altis is a compact car. Elantra ang dapat i compare sa Altis. Anyway since we are here, for me depends if the TS will keep the car for keeps or will change after five years. If for keeps then go for Toyota Altis. Toyota dependability and resale value is the best in the industry. If after five years the TS will change or upgrade then go for Accent Diesel.

Lol. Then let’s knock ourselves out with the newbie doubts small engines then.

No offense sa newbies but i have read too many of these questions from them that I couldn’t help but notice. I learned to drive on an M/T suzuki super carry with a 1.0 gas engine. And that climbed baguio with no problems. Partida through Kennon Road pa yun.

    "that simply is not true."
my wigo of over 3 years, has never overheated.

but, as it has a smaller radiator, leaks would conceivably empty her radiator faster than radiators that are much bigger.

Don't believe all the street mechanics say. Car engineers are not dumb creatures.
