Bro Pup2, thanks so much for the info.

Fortuner pa rin ang no.1 pang masa talaga (mukhang best value for money).

    Cheers to all!

Sales figures don't really tell the whole story...

Toyota has a bigger and more extensive dealership service than many of the others... and Honda's CRV hasn't quite been out for a full year, yet.

Add to that, the fact that Honda has not been able to import enough CR-Vs to meet demand... if they had, they could have possibly matched or exceeded the Fortuner in sales. But that's a Honda thing... make a few less than you can sell... it keeps their production facilities flexible and responsive to market conditions.

Siguro kasi if 5 years sya or more okay sya, baka convince ko mom ko na kuha kami for her.

Gusto ko rin CR-V for practical reasons kasi my mom would be driving it most of the time. Pero don't know the fuel consumption if it reaches 10 in the city same as the Outlander 2.4...

One possible explanation is that, maybe, not all who voted actually have bought the unit that they voted on. It is just a preference if they have 1.5M. And since tsikoteers are more knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles (through reading and experience) as compared to the common buyer, their preference would be different.

But, of course, at the end of the day, actual sales would be more important than preference.

IMHO, the new fortuner buyers don't mind that there are so many forts already plying around, and so like the crv buyers. Popularity can equate to better chances of selling the unit later and getting better resale. Besides, [T] and [H] have built very good reputation for several decades that it would be difficult to topple them just like that.

fortuner ata available na since 2k5 pero yun CRV 2nd half of last year lang na-distribute pero nasa half na ng Fortuner list

i wont be surprised CRV will make the top 1 in another half of this year pa

Santa FE is just a hyped diesel value car kaya siguro ang dami nag-vote dito but still unsure bumili talaga pag may pera na. the good thing about it lang is yun exclusivity sa daan. it will always be refreshing to look at and it will not catch the scent of MMDA kotong boys. they will always view a rare luxurious looking car as not in their league.

Ford Everest came out surprisingly 3rd in last year's SUV sales.
But according to the poll/survey out of these owners, only 1% (15) lang yata ang nag-member dito sa tsikot.

I opted for the Sf instead of the fortuner but I did have a very hard time deciding. I test drove both from friends. Both met my requirements. I do understand the skepticisms against any korean badge. I was once too. But the numbers are there, the reviews and the genuine improvements korean brands have accomplished in the recent years. Kinda hard to ignore. But the japanese brands are undeniably hard to dethrone. For me, as long as my ride would be at par with the forts, crv, rav4, thats good enough for me. If i win the lottery, I'll have them all in my garage. Peace mga peeps. No need for sarcasms and speculations. Lets stick to the facts.

Well, the everest does look somewhat old school. And while they may not do techie stuff, they sure have enough bucks to buy their everests!

Sorry po, based on reviews lang po sa internet. About safety ratings yata yun, etc. I forgot the site. This post was along time na ah bago pa lumabas yung sales report. Numbers are pertaning to the good points of the rides, not sales. My apologies kung hindi clear. I was pointing out my choices in order.
