    my taste for cars always counts for originality, thats why i really cant stomach the cayenne-esque, q7-esque, touareg-esque design of santa fe. or the crdi, vtg which they got from the germans.

    japanese cars have gone a long way and that makes them well-established even when time comes that realibility becomes an issue of concern ( isuzu workmanship, mitsubishi underchassis, nissan steel, toyota d4d woes, etc etc) yet they still patronize the cars from the land of the rising sun.
    Ako I picked Sorento for d true 4x4 value. Pero un mga bumoto for SF, Im sure they know the reasons. They know!

    Don't blame the vehicle too much when it turns turtle. Any high center of gravity vehicle, SUV/CUV, can turn turtle if wrongly driven.

    1. Santa Fe crdi tied with Fortuner 3.0 d4d
    2. CRV, Rav4
    3. Ford Everest

    I opted for the Sf instead of the fortuner but I did have a very hard time deciding. I test drove both from friends. Both met my requirements. I do understand the skepticisms against any korean badge. I was once too. But the numbers are there, the reviews and the genuine improvements korean brands have accomplished in the recent years. Kinda hard to ignore. But the japanese brands are undeniably hard to dethrone. For me, as long as my ride would be at par with the forts, crv, rav4, thats good enough for me. If i win the lottery, I'll have them all in my garage. Peace mga peeps. No need for sarcasms and speculations. Lets stick to the facts. Merry Christmas ya'll.

    My picks would be:

    1. Subaru Forester (pwedeng panghataw)
    2. Suzuki Grand Vitara (anak ng kotse ko hehehe)
    3. Mitsubishi Outlander (I like the paddle shifters and the rockford fosgate sounds)
    4. Mazda Tribute (para maiba naman)
    6. Hyundai Sta Fe (good work HARI!)
    7. Ford Everest in SORV form (pwedeng on and off road pero a little bit bumpy)
    8. Kia Sorento (the revamped Kia deserves a pat in the back)
    9. Subaru Outback (AWD din at ganda ng porma)
    10. Ford Escape;

    Mukhang hindi representative ang tsikot sa Filipino motoring society ah. Parang ang layo ng botohan sa naging results ng actual sales? Or maybe the rest of the country just needs to check the site out more.
