Toyota Fortuner
Hyundai Santa Fe
Isuzu Alterra
Kia Sorento
Mitsubishi Outlander
Toyota Rav4 4x2
Honda CR-V 4x4
Subaru Forester XT
Mitsubishi Montero
Ford Everest
Suzuki Grand Vitara V6
Hyundai Santa Fe! Panalo ka dyan! OK din Outlander kung pormahan hanap mo.
Check the Isuzu Alterrra Thread.
They say this is the most fuel efficient among the SUVs in the market - Fortuner, Everest, Santa Fe.
Though it is not the most powerful.
Fortuner is the most powerful on the 3.0L Displacement followed by Everest.
So I guess Isuzu tweaked the engine - Thought not the most powerful, but the most fuel efficient.
dagdag nyo na dito yun dodge caliber 1.575M

Parang mahal yung dodge for a 2 liter engine. Baka hindi pa AWD yun o AWD na?
mukhang the best talaga alterra pag ganyan ang fuel consumption nya! ayos kung ganun!![]()
I'm not posting this to argue but I find this offensive, I have back read on this thread and most of the "korean fan boys" that you mentioned like myself have posted based on their experience on their vehicle that they like to share to those who inquire and it just so happens that we had a good one on this particular korean made model. If this irritates other people then we might as well keep it to ourself. Sure, this thread is full of santa fe owners, maybe because we like to tell the world and reiterate how good it is so that others may like to try it as well. Most of us(owners) have probably owned more than 1 car of different make and models but maybe none of which made such a great impression that we are proud to say that it is a great buy.
I have no quarrels with you drey and I respect and admire most your informative posts since I joined tsikot. Peace bro.... from now on I will not post anything about the santa fe in comparos to give more breathing room to other SUV owners. Ciao and good day.
Sometimes our choice will boil down to which variant will actually be easier to maintain and maintenance surely includes the fuel you feed. For me, I'd rather get an SUV with the best fuel efficiency rather than power because that is what's going to matter in the long run.

i dont believe that this poll will justify what suv is really the best.this is not even a fraction of partiality.it wont even convince the general public that hyundai is better at all these days.peoples opinion varies greatly from one another.its true that hyundai is catching up a lot because theres not much for them to do otherwise, if they want to survive in the automotive business.for the SF fans, well, you have the right to be a satisfied owner.for the japanese car fans, u dont have to worry, be confident, dont feel insecured by these polls.its a fact that japanese cars are still the better choice, its hyundai that suffered the most actually.
my taste for cars always counts for originality, thats why i really cant stomach the cayenne-esque, q7-esque, touareg-esque design of santa fe. or the crdi, vtg which they got from the germans.
japanese cars have gone a long way and that makes them well-established even when time comes that realibility becomes an issue of concern ( isuzu workmanship, mitsubishi underchassis, nissan steel, toyota d4d woes, etc etc) yet they still patronize the cars from the land of the rising sun.
if this tsikot forum was in existence during the dark ages of korean cars, i woudnt even imagine how you'll all be battered & slaughtered verbally in any tsikot forums.
the bottom line is, you express what your heart dictates about your car.its always a matter of personal taste & satisfaction which makes you a happy owner.its in our human nature, its what makes us unique.
its what makes tsikot forum great.
