    Yup, rear wheel drive.....

I remember getting better than 15Km/L on our boxtype years ago (full tank- drive for about 150Km - full tank in the same gas station and pump)....

I also remember my folks averaging around 11 or 12km/L with our Corona wedge before. I guess it was also because traffic wasnt bad back then.

Since there are not too many RWD compact cars on the market, it would be nice. You could also make some refurbishments on it to have more comfort features like newer cars but with the handling of a RWD

I wanted to do it with a 1st-gen Isuzu Gemini...

Restorations of 70s/80s icons need more than a good garage. One has to be resourceful in scouring genuine parts....Good thing they're all over the web. Keep everything period/model correct.
A bud's Colt Galant has taken its lost glory back....in his own backyard. Done with the right parts down to tiny bits....new weatherstrips & badges. A renewed Saturn engine w/ twin side Webers. Is it worth to restore a box-type Lancer?Sadly, I can't share pics w/o permission. Is it worth to restore a box-type Lancer?
