Why I bought a Car?

I want to start a Thread to know the reason(s) why each "Tsikoters" here bought a car!

We have our own reason(s) but each participation might be unique, or many of us are on the same page!

Please depend your answer to complete my thought.

For me, I bought my 1st car for experience.
Because I want to practice my driving skills on different level, & to know how to deal with basic car maintenance.
Finally, this is my preparation before buying a brand new car.

As I bought my brand new car, I have another reasons. A comfort for my family, a mode of transportation & to make them at ease with a different level of standard.

bought my first 2nd hand car last June.

reasons..

1st. comfort
2nd. experience.. like sir Noel said. ^^^

and 3rd. laruan ko nadin, big boys toys ika nga. bachelor pa naman, carry pa magpaporma/magparepair ng auto. wala pa priorities.

simple. to go from pt. A to pt. B.......

at tsaka para di ako mabwisit pag pasko.
ang taxi pahirapan. namimili ng pasahero.....

for the transport of my family to be comfortable. mas flexible at efficient kasi pag may sariling sasakyan. iwas pa sa daming hassle pag nag commute (makukulit na taxi driver, sobra sa babad mga bus, masikip na AUV etc...).

To impress people I don't like kahit magkabaon baon ako sa utang.(ang mag react guilty) bwehehe

-For Business purpose (pang-transport ng kalakal)
-To save time in traveling (mahirap kasi pag-commute yung tipong palipat-lipat ng sasakyan minsan kahit maaga ka, aabutan ka parin ng traffic, paano pahinto-hinto pa sa mga terminal yung mga jeep at bus, saka mas mabilis pag may sariling sasakyan, syempre kailangan maaga rin para iwas traffic)
-Comfort (lalo na pag-umuulan, mahirap humanap ng masasakyan jeep, bus at taxi, punuan lahat at sisiksikan pa)
-To easily travel from one place to another.
-saka para may mailagay naman sa garahe, sayang space e,

2nd car - for out of town trips (long drive)
3rd car - executive car (business related)
4th car - soon! pang chicks

why not?
if others don't have a need for a car, that's their prerogative. it is a necessity. ease of mobility privacy and convenience, save time and is more secure than commuting.

I'm about to say 'iwas traffic' but on second thought, mas traffic pala pag may tsikot ka. mas convenient mag lrt/mrt para iwas traffic pero amoy pawis ka naman pag labas.

why not?
if others don't have a need for a car, that's their prerogative. it is a necessity. ease of mobility privacy and convenience, save time and is more secure than commuting.

^ Agree on this, for those living in the urban jungle it's a tool/necessity for a reason to get from a one place to another, home - office some kind'a like that.

oo nga sir, kahit naman naka-kotse na nattraffic pa rin, pero mabilis rin naman talaga if you have your own, depends on how you set your time to travel, syempre kailangan maaga rin aalis pagnaka-car para iwas traffic, yun iba kasing naka-kotse, masyadong confident kahit umalis ng usual time e akala makakarating sila agad on time sa pupuntahan nila, ayun inaabot ng traffic, like my friend who is working in makati ilang bottle neck traffics ang dinadaan nun, kaya umaalis yun dito sa sta.rosa laguna, 4:00am palang, imba!

Reason#1: Since I never liked commuting... No more sardine-packed LRT trains! No more amoy <insert random name>'s kili-kili! Hurray!

mas matipid bumili ng car kesa mag-taxi everyday. yung taxi fare ko dati ng 5 days equal na yun sa fuel cost ko for 1 month. di ko pa need maki-negotiate sa mga buwisit na taxi drivers na namimili ng pasahero.

at pumogi pa ako nung may sariling kotse na me, bwahahahaha!

May kilala ako na ganun. Mas matanda pa siya sa parents ng chicks niya. :D

BTT: I like cars, and it's a necessity with our lifestyle today.
