Why I bought a Car?

I want to start a Thread to know the reason(s) why each "Tsikoters" here bought a car!

We have our own reason(s) but each participation might be unique, or many of us are on the same page!

Please depend your answer to complete my thought.

For me, I bought my 1st car for experience.
Because I want to practice my driving skills on different level, & to know how to deal with basic car maintenance.
Finally, this is my preparation before buying a brand new car.

As I bought my brand new car, I have another reasons. A comfort for my family, a mode of transportation & to make them at ease with a different level of standard.

bought my first 2nd hand car last June.

reasons..

1st. comfort
2nd. experience.. like sir Noel said. ^^^

and 3rd. laruan ko nadin, big boys toys ika nga. bachelor pa naman, carry pa magpaporma/magparepair ng auto. wala pa priorities.

simple. to go from pt. A to pt. B.......

at tsaka para di ako mabwisit pag pasko.
ang taxi pahirapan. namimili ng pasahero.....

for the transport of my family to be comfortable. mas flexible at efficient kasi pag may sariling sasakyan. iwas pa sa daming hassle pag nag commute (makukulit na taxi driver, sobra sa babad mga bus, masikip na AUV etc...).

Wala yatang gustong mangarera(racing) kaya bumili ng car?
Mas mainit ang pang chicks na car, comfort, at luxury!

The status of the car as a chick magnet has its beginnings in the liberated 60s in America as you can "make out" in the back seat. Just park your car in one dusty country road and ....its a homerun so to speak.

Today, just ride a taxi liko sabay yoko when you reach the motel. Mas safe, mas comfortable, mas relax.

Nowadays, the car as a chick magnet is overrated. Unless you take advantage of those teenagers.

The reign of SIR was already finished!
It was more than a decade technology, now are more sofisticated with so many amazing features that SIR doesnt have.

For me, SIR maybe a legend, but a beaten legend!

My 2006 2.0 Civic FD would not beat my old 2000 SiR stock to stock (paglalaruan pa yan, lol). None of the cars I have now would beat the SiR straight up (800k-1.5m range). I sold it in 2005. That car was sad if you do not rev it to oblivion. LOL.
