True, when I sold my car way back in 2004 sinimplehan ako ng mekaniko, he said he will convince the buyer basta abutan ko sya.. Gave him 3k and we close the deal.

That is why we need to keep all repair records ( receipts ), Maintenance chart with mileage ( date changed) better with pictures. Dahil dun maraming friends gusto bumili ng sasakyan ko.

yes, having those maintenance documents is nice... for the educated buyer.
to me, it is evidence of the owner's seeming obsessiveness in keeping his car in good condition.
but for ordinary car buyers, "por kilo".

Pinabayaan ko na lang boss kung maniwala sya o hindi, di naman ako nagmamadali ibenta, but then may bumili din na iba after a week

You can also try on eBay and Amazon. Both are great sources.

Sa fb marketplace. And It took us more than a month bago kami nakabili. Most of them are buy and sell agents, and at least 10% yung patong nila. Look for owner/seller, kaya you'll need to check your fb regularly. yan din kasi yung hanap ng mga agent. And about the pricing, i just assume a 10% depreciation per year as reference.

I have bought quite a few cars from Olx in the past few years. This is because the ads there were the most updated at the time, and offered the most details. So far all of the sellers I have encountered were decent enough. Now most of these sellers have either migrated to FB Marketplace or placed identical ads there.

Ang meron dito, mga advise sa pagbili ng bagong kotse, saka yung mga away na parang probinsyano ang dating, hindi matapos tapos.

Parang yung offer ko na taho kay Cathy, di ko pa din alam kung saan at kelan ko ipapadala sa kanya

Any experience with Ugarte Cars? It looks like they're one of the bigger, "legit" 2nd hand car dealers on the market.

I'm targeting sana a 2nd hand MPV (Avanza or maybe an old Innova) for 500k below with financing option.

Also, for the private sellers, may pumapayag ba ng bank financing agreement? Sa BDO kasi may option sila for either through a car dealer or through a private seller (maybe other banks ganito din ang options).
