December 3rd, 2019 08:41 AM #25Thanks for this information. Might be a bit outdated in 2019 but it's certainly helpful.
Anyway, I have a pre-owned car that was repossessed by the bank. It still registered to the previous owner but it's been six months since I've completed my payments to the bank but no transfer of ownership yet. Who's supposed to pay for this transfer fees and registration me or the bank?

December 3rd, 2019 09:47 PM #27You will. Bank shoulders nothing. They will just give you deed of sale, or/cr, court documents if foreclosed by sherrif or deed of voluntary surrender, cancellation of encumbrance
You process the cancellation of encumbrance through registry of deeds, and pay
Go to hpg for clearance and pay.
Go to lto to transfer ownership and pay
