pwede, pero sa SC ata, walang mapanlinlang na situations, SC's don't even decide for themselves.

The thing with life is when a particular situation made you decide, but then again, mapanlinlang lang pala yung situation na yun. Di naman pala talaga kailangan.

And then there's tsikot, lagi kang nakakakita ng "temptations"... ahaha!
If you have the cash flow to support the second car ( hindi lang ipon money), go for it... I have three cars in the garage and we just make sure theyre properly maintained so as not to become repair pits either. One is a year old, another is 6 years old, and the last is 20 years old. However remember that its never an "investment". I was tempted to buy a project car some months ago (LSB showed me a pretty nice 2 door 123 Benz) but decided to use the extra funds to buy a lot instead.

Sleep over it and dont decide immediately. Take a look at some cars, and sleep over it even more. Then you decide.

Cars as investment, unless that car is a collector's item or something...
I don't even treat my investments as "investments", investments are also expenses.

Yep, no problem with the Cash Flow, just that, you know, picking the brains of others, before I jump into it. Para at least mabawasan yung risk na pagsisihan bandang huli.

    +1

If I can afford I would.

Hindi naman ako maluwag but I keep a second car. One is a pickup truck for hauling and general purpose.

Had a Kia Pride, sold it, kasi feeling ko, madami ng magsusulputang papalitan, Thinking now that I should have just kept it. But oh well.

Do you think an Alto/Eon type of a car would be a good second car, as in everything is compromised, or kuha parin ng mas useful?

IMO, it's a good car kung based ka sa Manila, goes through EDSA/C5 everyday and you want a fuel-efficient car, at ikaw lang mostly mag-isa nagmamaneho to and from work. Pero since based ka naman sa Pampanga, marami pa namang ibang choices dyan unless gusto mo talaga yung Eon/Alto type of car then go. Pwede ring toy car yan.

Para sa akin ok lang Alto/Eon as second car kung malaki yung first car. If not, I will get bigger one even used like a 3-year old Altis.

Having a 2nd car was a necessity (at the time that I bought it ) pero I made sure na it was an economical car - 2004 Vios. Mainly used for coding and pahiram sa kapatid haha.

Pa share.. Depende kase talaga sa budget at pag gagamitan.. Depende din ciempre sa 1st car. Province based ako..

2nd car namin is Alto 800 standard.. For me "super sulit".. I know madaming options before i bought it..

To make it simpler "BASIC CAR" lang talaga.

    So for me sulit.
We got it 368k, free 3 yrs LTO, matting, tint, tools, EWD device at suzuki caloocan, look for Flor..

need advise here, since topic naman eh second car.

andito ako sa province, single, mid 30's with small business na minamaintain. last 2009 I bought a brand new 2009 sedan, and since may business ako and single naman nag-cash ako, gamit ko sya from house to work lang and since hands on ako sa business ko hindi ako nakakapamasyal gamit ang sasakyan, so yun sedan ko eh house to work, at work to house lang.

    TIA.

Para sakin don't sell it if it keeps you interested sa setup or napamahal na sayo yung oto. Hobby na lang kung walang magawa. But if you just see it as a car and nothing more, sell it. Cars don't hold value, the more you keep it, the more depreciation it gets.

this is what i'm thinking, medyo nanghihinayang rin ako kung ibebenta ko kasi sya ang unang fruit ng pagtatrabaho ko, then special plate from my name, although before that sedan may oto rin akong ginagamit pero bigay lang ni father at binenta rin. but this is different car kasi ako talaga naghirap sa pera na pinangbili nun hehe.
