Searching Used Cards on this website, Tsikot. Andaming lower priced than expected. Too good to be true?

For example, for an Innova, I expected around 450k but:

the seller sometimes resorts to gimmicks, to entice potential costumers. getting you into their showroom is half their battle.

1. mura, dahil down payment lang ang sinaad nila. once you get there, you will get to know the full story of the down payment and the monthly gives.

2. bait and switch tactic. they advertise a cheap car, but when you visit them, the car in question will already have been sold. "but we have a better car here... just a bit more expensive..."

3. nice picture of the right side. but the left side doors are all tissue-crumpled. or something similar such that car is taxi-laspag na. example: "company service car". heh heh.

4. car not yet fully paid by original owner. the advertised price is what you will hand over to the "seller". then, you-the-buyer will shoulder the rest of the payments. i would advice against these. too many possible complications.

5. the seller does not own the car! and he knows that, due to complications that are not necessarily illegal, he can't own it without going thru tons of paperwork and miles of legwork. so he's passing on the problem to you. this reeks of lots of legwork and paperwork for the buyer. avoid!

6. stolen car! yikes!

7. the car does not exist. it's a con game all the way.

i am not saying the ones you posted are any of the above. but there are such things one must be aware of. if a car strikes your fancy, go visit it. who knows... the owner may just be getting rid of his car pronto, because the new one is arriving next week. yes. may ganyan.

so, yes. if it is too good to be true, in all probability, it is.
