First of all, I like this site and this is my 2nd post.
The site is user friendly to me and so much to go through.

OK, to my question for all used car selling people of the Philippines.
How easy, or for that matter how difficult is it here in the Philippines to sell a very good used car at a good price without hastle.
For instance, I feel by been very honest about mine a potential buyer may run away even though I have nothing to hide.

I think I am not over selling, just saying what is fact about my car.
To get someone to look at the car after a phone call seems to be a put off.
We are polite and answer all questions, but then the dreaded can I see the car today or in the morning and of course the reply is yes anytime.
OK then we are on the way?
Change our plans and wait all day for a non arrival and arrange the kids to be collected by friends.
Are there any morals in the used car private dealing game or is it just a game by so many.
I sold a civic a couple of years ago and the person who bought it created so many problems because we accepted a small downpayment.
I found out later She had no money and was waiting on a Bank to lend Her the money, but requested I take the car here and there to Makiti for this inspection and that inspection.
After nearly six weeks we got the money, I never backed out because a deal is a deal to me, even though I was pissed big time.
The car was just over one year old.
I will never allow that again on selling, first come first served basis.
Any thoughts or tips on selling will be appreciated and how slow or fast I can expect to sell my very good car without all the hastle.

    hi liuhua

if ever you are going to accept a downpayment no matter how big or small the amount is make sure to have a notarized contract stating the agreed maximum number of days that the deposit would be valid (ex. 1-2 weeks) note that the amount is non refundable and after the said number of days it would be nullified and used to cover the troubles that it may have caused you.

for phone inquiries regarding when a potential buyer can view the vehicle; do not compromise on your schedule, you can be the one to set the viewing time and location if not then re-schedule it when both parties are free

    :D
