Here's the complete details: medyo mahaba lang..
I bought a 2nd hand car, 1993 Toyota Corona from an ads placed at Mla Bulletin 3 weeks ago. Without checking the OR/CR i proceeded to buy the car.
I went to the sellers house (within 3 kms from mine) for the transaction. The seller made an acknowledgement receipt coz he had an open deed of sale from the original owner (complete w/ xerox copies of the orig owner's id's )
and the 1st thing I noticed is the year model indicated at the cr was typed-over with "1993".
Said vehicle's cr is at Manila East District office.
Anyway, I brought the said vehicle for registration renewal last week (EP # 7) at LTO las pinas and the computer indicated that the vehicle's year model is 2000. But the first registration was February 1994.
LTO las pinas recommended that I go to Manila East to point the descripancy and correct the mistake as well.
Now comes the questions:
1. Is this an indication of a hot car?
2. Is this so much of a hassle?
3. Is it that easy to correct the data inputed at the LTO computer?
4. How much would I have to pay for this?
Lastly, where is Manila East if I'm coming from South Super Highway?
Thanks for your replies!
