Yesterday, I went to Manila East LTO (which is very difficult to find, see below for directions), I approached the guy in the records section and told the descripancy. After 10 mins, he got back to me with a printed copy of the data indicating the correct year model. Proceeded to the registration and after 45 mins, my car is now 2005 registered.
So to answer my own questions:
Yes, anything not in order should be scrutinized.1. Is this an indication of a hot car?
Not much. Knowing the right person/agency to ask would help.2. Is this so much of a hassle?
Yes. Just approach the records section and point the mistake supported by the Orig CR and the vehicle itself.3. Is it that easy to correct the data inputed at the LTO computer?
Not much. P50 for the guy at the records section is enough. Afterall it's their job helping you. Anyway, I gave him P100.4. How much would I have to pay for this?
This is hard to answer. The way I took was from SM Centerpoint going to Nagtahan/ Recto, that is Ramon Magsaysay Blvd, I turned right at Altura (7-11). Turn left at Buenos Aires, Right at Domingo Santiago. The LTO office is at your right infront of Iglesia ni Kristo.Lastly, where is Manila East if I'm coming from South Super Highway?
HTH!
