PRO's & CON's of buying converted LC100

Ask ko lang, converted daw ito using new assembly. Walang hinang. Brand new dashboard and etc... what else shoulg I look at. With regards the suspension and engine marami ba parts dito?

Lastly mahirap bang pa-renew ng registration ng ganitong car... first time ko kasi kukuha ng subic if ever.

My Dad bought one in the past. It had an auto tranny. The problem he had with it was that the engine temp guage kept going up. he could not use it for long travel. going up to baguo from la union would include several stops just to cool off the engine. He eventually sold it and bought a 97 VX (local version).

yup hindi lang sa conversion (RHD to LHD) ang issue dyan...airson is one thing you should look into, power steering, halos lahat...

I have 2 door trooper na converted and if I could turn back the hands of time I wouldn't have gotten this. Ok na sya ngayon pero the amount of money and time put into it would have gotten me a local pick-up na walang masyado sakit sa ulo.

Mukhang lahat CON's hehehe saan namang merong LC100 na dubai? Pag dubai e di gas lang lahat? Gusto ko sana reliability ng LC without the high price tag.

bro I think if you are at the point in your life na gusto mo na ng SUV you have to accept the following
1. Mahal talaga sya
2. Malakas sya kumain ng diesel man or gas compared sa mga civic, corolla, etc..
3. Mahal Maintenance nya
In short mahal magka SUV compared to just owning a mid-sized sedan.. hehehe

dashboard? baka brand new nga, made of fibreglass naman.... masakit yata sa dibdib sa frontal collision

Best to get a local secondhand 4x4... maganda pa... kaya lang, pricey still, at 800k - 1m.

if you got tons of cash to burn, ok lang ang converted LC100...eto siguro mga time mapapaisip ako, 1M tapos magkakaprob akong ganyan..ah, CR-V or forrester nalang ako!

o di kaya tuc or matrix...sorrento or sta. fe....practicality comes first...

hey, converted nga pala liteace ko! anywayz, liteace and LC100 are differnt, cheaper to maintain ang liteace kaysa sa delica, noh!

tama sila on the other CONS, the fact that you are willing to part off with 1M, you should have a good A/C and the dash if it is really brand new should be made with plastic and not fiberglass and NOT painted to match color. Obvious na fiberglass kung painted ito.

At 1M it should be looking sparkling clean inside, outside, under the hood and under the chasis.

and kung mag-sspend ako ng 1M gusto feel ko 1M nagatos ko...just like spending 12thou sa cell, just like sa pagbili ko nitong w800, sulit na sa 12thou, used

Actually dream car ko LC100, I was just looking for a good deal. Siguro hanap ako ng di converted. Mga magkano ba ang LC100 na dubai... diesel ah.. how about LC80 na di rin converted...

I already have my trooper for daily trips and ok naman sya... looking for Land cruiser to replace our altis.. hehe I guess once you go to SUV its hard to go back .

Di naman ako nagmamadali bumili since next year I will be migrating to US so iiwan ko din lahat dito. Mukhang di rin ako makakabili ng LC100 sa US since V8 yung ganitong variant dun and gas prices are way tooo high... kaya antay nalang muna ako ng hybrid na SUV na medyo ok. I heard 4runner was a nice hybrid/SUV.... any comments? Yung lexus naman di daw noticable ang savings sa gas... pareho lang din daw ang consumption ng di hybrid.
