That might explain why those were mentioned above.
Thanks for the feedback. May I ask what's your diesel car?

My accent diesel requires about 5.3 liters of oil. That is 1 liter more than a regular 1.6 petrol sedan.

hmmm... sa japanese cars, less than 4 liter lang. usualy anywhere from 3-3.5 liters of oil.

di pa ako nakakita ng 1.6liter engine na 4.3 liters ang oil...

Wow, my 2.0L turbodiesel sedan only uses 5L oil. Grabe naman sa oil ang Accemt diesel.

Di ba yung malalaking SUV like Montero ay halos ganun nga lang din dami ng oil? O marami talaga?

Kaya pala mas magastos nga sa oil change ang Fort at Montero. Anyway, it might change when their next generation models start using more modern diesel engines that are smaller displacement due to better efficiency. Those current models are still stuck with the big old diesel powerplants from the past decade.

newer generation pickup based suvs still use big displacement engines 2.8L or 3.2L

aside from them, the amarok 2.0L uses 7.5L engine oil.

isuzu is testing the 1.9L diesel engine for pickups. I would guess it would require at least 6liters engine oil.
