    sir.
if i see one, with an accessorized list that long, and ends with "never been raced",
    i would be wary.

these models are not that plentiful, and their owners probably know each other already.
i'd probably ask around, whether the owner in fact did race his car.

250k is the normal going rate for a 2007 1.8V FD. My aunt sold hers for 220k last year.

Also, if you're getting an FD, get the 1.8S at the very least. It comes with ABS which you can't add as an aftermarket mod, and is a very useful safety feature. Usually just 20k more expensive than a similar age/mileage 1.8V.

The EK is only a better car than the FD in terms of affordable tuning potential for track use. As a daily driver, the FD is better, newer, more comfortable, more reliable.

But if you really like the EK then go ahead. Just know that you're paying for a 20-year old car for the same money that can get you a 12-year old car. From my personal experience with secondhand cars, anything older than 10 years old tends to need much more maintenance than a younger car.

You said you are a newbie to cars. Whether it be an EK or an FD, best to start with a stock vehicle and then slowly modify to your liking. Heavily modified vehicles may have very different "personalities" and preferences from a stock vehicle.

66k is very low mileage for a 2007 model. My 2007 Santa Fe has 98k on the clock and is already considered low mileage for its age. It is not impossible though, especially if the owner has multiple vehicles and this one is just a backup or coding car. But for used vehicles, always take the mileage reading with a grain of salt and make sure the car's condition is in agreement with the mileage claimed.

Sadly, even 2019 car mileage can be "doctored" for P2500.

An earlier post, to which I agree with, advised to look at the overall condition of the car vis-a-vis its age, which is gonna be tough for you as you are a newbie as you stated.

My vote goes to all stock, all original = more fun.

    Good luck

Or the owner goes to work 5 days a week only, deduct pa holidays, that's equal to 27 kms/day, deduct mo pa SL/VL/EL [emoji75]

We do 21 kms daily, 5 days a week on our car.
