Oo nga naman, kung properly maintained, no need to change things. Unless of course, walang pakialam sa maintenance yung owner.
Choose what your heart desires. What vehicles are you looking at? A small subcompact car (City, Vios, etc) is a lot easier to maintain.
If this is your first ever car and you're new to driving, you might find it very challenging to maneuver a big SUV on our roads. Even more so kung sa city ka nakatira.
Before deciding what car to buy, ask yourself if that's what you really need and if you can handle driving it daily or even just regularly.
What's your purpose? For work? Leisure? A little of both? Where do you live? Nababaha ba sa lugar nyo? Maganda mga daan?
Also, what's you budget and take into consideration regular maintenance costs. Add 20K to 30K per year if you're planning to get an SUV.
My best advice? It isn't car-related.
Your problem with hyperhidrosis can be remedied by DRICLOR, an OTC solution na parang roll-on siya. It's quite expensive, pero you'll only use this 2 weeks straight at most. Super matipid siya if maintenance phase na, yung akin inabot na ng expiry di pa ubos. Been using this since 15 years ago and tried and tested na ;)
As for the car... hehe. All the others have better inputs and experiences than me, and i'll leave the car advice to them![]()
In case of a tie based on the features, you can then choose based on which car makes you smile.
You'll be seeing it every day so might as well consider aesthetics.
I wonder who it was that had the very bright idea of replacing temp gauges with idiot lights. Right now, I think all mainstream brands are following this practice with their A and B segment offerings, though the Koreans seem to be reintroducing the temp gauge in their smaller cars as seen in the Soluto.

Unfortunately, some drivers might not even notice until the car overheats. The problem is when the temperature light shows, we're not really sure if it's about to overheat or it's too late and it's head gasket time??
i didn't notice! and i had already been driving for over ten years, then.
and i had a very visible temperature needle gauge. but without an idiot light, however.
i just started feeling strange, when my aircon refused to cool anymore. that was when i saw my temp needle way above the usual position.
yun pala, pinatay na ng ECU ang lamig, para hindi lalo uminit ang makina...
fortunately, nothing really damaging occured. i was able to drive the car home, after it had cooled and i put in water.
what was the culprit? that four inch hose hiding under the intake manifold... i am sure many sentra owners already know of it.

Blue = cold
No light = normal
Blinking red = ohhh, its gonna be an exciting day
RED = overheated, better pay attention.
Yan yun signs. So blinking red is ur "needle is going higher"

If you need to turn off AC in fully loaded on incline position, something is very wrong in your cooling system.
My car did that, it was aux fan not working. No problem going up after it was fixed.
Idiot light knowledge was from experience. I prefer a needle or gauge, but Better nga idiot light. Kasi once it blinks... Kabahan ka na.
Needle raises a tick. Ok pa yan! Till bigla mo na lang ma notice, redzone ka na and aircon blowing hot air.

Ano kotse mo na wala temp gauge before? Nadali ka ba? Hehehe
I don't know why some oldies would think that turning the AC off will help the car's performance. The aircon does take 10-15% of the engine's outout but why not just step on the gas pedal harder (more rpm, more power).
