I always recommend... Buy a car based on what you value most, based on what is important to you. You can't have it all.

    Hehehe

    1) List the top 3 attributes that are important to you, rank it 1-3
    2) Score each car on these, giving highest score on best car per attribute
    3) Sum up the scores

    Viola! You'll have your choice.

I'm planning to buy my 1st ever car. Would like to ask your opinion. Below are all the considerations I'm currently thinking:

    1. Budget: upto 800k (can stretch upto 860k)
    2. I'm only 5'2 so I'm looking for a car na comfortable para sa height ko. I've tried Honda City before but seems huge for me or I guess indi lang aq nasanay kc ilang beses ko lang nman naidrive.
    3. AT transmission - most of the time is gagamitin sya for city driving. It'll be used to go to office but also for my business to pickup stocks sa lotto outlet ko like 4 boxes of lotto tickets. Box is like the size of PS4.
    4. Aircon - I have hyperhidrosis so madali aq pagpawisan. Not a huge deal kc natry ko nman na ang aircon ng toyota, nissan, mitsu at honda, etc and ok nman sila for me. Except Kia na parang mahina ang aircon (based sa reviews/feedback na nabasa ko)
    5. Toys - toys that could be helpful in my driving like rear cam, additional safety features, etc.
    6. Looks - not a huge deal but ofcourse I want to impress my girl.

Below is yung mga pinagpipilian ko. Feel free na dagdagan pa ang options and why.

    A. 2019 Honda Brio HB
    B. Suzuki Dzire
    C. Honda City E CVT
    D. Kia Soluto
    E. Mitsubishi Mirage HB
    F. Kia Picanto

All can be top of the line except Honda City.

    Thank you.
IMHO the new Suzuki Dzire looks pretty good. Suzuki is also known to be quite generous with toys. Best to check out personally though, if it fulfills your practical needs.

Best car overall for me would still be the Honda City. Perhaps you were not able to properly adjust your seat position? Performance is really good. Toys and additional features can be easily added.

Can't comment much on that since I'm on the taller side. I have driven a friend's 2015 Jazz on multiple occasions and was quite impressed with its roominess. No scraping the headliner, no knees pushing against the base of the steering column, legs able to fully extend... Said friend happens to be a girl though, and is of around similar height as you, give or take a couple of inches. Loves the car to pieces.

Jazz and City are basically the same car, sir. Exterior design lang pinagkaiba.

Try to go to the dealer and ask for a discount. You might be surprised.

Whatever you get, make sure it has a height adjustable seat. Unless you’re ok with a pillow booster, in case you need to raise your seat height.

Anyway, I just noticed on videos that the Brio doesn’t have a cooling temperature gauge???

Many are now equipped w/ the Ooops-it's-too-late idiot light. OBD gauges are your workaround....They tell & do more.[emoji106]

Totoo bang mas matipid ang Manual vs. Automatic? In terms of fuel consumption?

Bigger factor yung daily route at driving habits. Kung lagi ka ipit sa traffic at gapang-gapang lang, kahit maliit kotse mo medyo mataas fuel consumption.

Modern automatics are as good or better in fuel efficiency compared to manuals.

Yes, MT are more fuel efficient and costs lesser to maintain.

Modern ATs like DCT and CVT surplus assembly costs 110k and 45k respectively.

Bakit naman papalitan transmission if properly maintained.
