Oo nga naman, kung properly maintained, no need to change things. Unless of course, walang pakialam sa maintenance yung owner.

Choose what your heart desires. What vehicles are you looking at? A small subcompact car (City, Vios, etc) is a lot easier to maintain.

+1 on this. Crossovers drive like sedans but with more cargo space.

If this is your first ever car and you're new to driving, you might find it very challenging to maneuver a big SUV on our roads. Even more so kung sa city ka nakatira.

Before deciding what car to buy, ask yourself if that's what you really need and if you can handle driving it daily or even just regularly.

What's your purpose? For work? Leisure? A little of both? Where do you live? Nababaha ba sa lugar nyo? Maganda mga daan?

Also, what's you budget and take into consideration regular maintenance costs. Add 20K to 30K per year if you're planning to get an SUV.

You're right. However, DCT's clutch is consumable... I replaced mine at 65k kms... P60k.

CVT'S and DCT ATF costs P450 per Liter

    For everyone's consideration.

    BTW, I have 4 G4s and 10 Accent diesels

You may wanna adjust your maintenance budget. My Accent Diesels' PMS at 40k kms reached P27k.

Oh sorry sir, I meant for the first few years lang po.

My Rav4's PMS was only 30K during our last visit to the casa, in it's 5th year. I realize the costs go up as the car ages as well.

I wonder what the TS decided?

Try to go to the dealer and ask for a discount. You might be surprised.
