tires have specific shelf life... so kahit di pa nagamit ang gulong kapag lagpas na sya sa designed "life" (4 to 5 years max) there's a massive chance it will fail on you... kaya nga sa mga tire shops they offer discounts as much as 30% kasi luma na ibibigay sayo... it's like beer, first in = first out

only recommended for city driving with bumber to bumper traffic situations almost everytime you go through those roads. but even though on city driving, if you're going to travel 80 kph ++, think again

for provincial and highway trips, don't even think about it.

Before you purchase consider the following:

    1. What brand of tyres you prefer

    2. How much is the brand new price

    3. How much is the other manufacture price

    4. How old is the 2nd hand tyres? typical sa 2nd hand tyres mga 3 years and above.

    5. What is the cost difference if you buy brand new?

Dumaan din ako sa stage na ito since I want to replace 4 tyres due to age, I was looking for a cheap 235/60R16 100H, preferably Bridgestone Dueler. Nag ikot ikot ako sa mga 2nd hand tyre shops, it cost around 1,500-2,500 depends on the thickness of the thread. The earliest na nakita ko manufactured year 2008 Yokohama ang brand.

Then one shop nag offer sa akin ng China made Tyre at the cost of 3,300/tyre un na ang kinuha ko.

Did I feel any difference? sa driving wala, pero sa wallet ko konti lang ang nabawas.

BTW: asa akin pa din ung 4 na 235/60R16 100H Bridgestone Dueler, keep ko lang sa garage as spare or kung meron mag offer to buy.
