Haha! I know right? Since the car only has a CRE and we can't sell (unless we do something about it), no plans. I'll try to maintain this baby as long as I can.

If you don't mind, how much did you spend before it ran smoothly?

Cost me almost than half price of a second hand of the same model. It was a lot of money for a repair. There's still a long way to go cause the car is not yet on its top condition but it is working, running smoothly (took it to Tagaytay already, and Im from North).

Madaming ginawa sa sasakyan, let me share the list na binigay sa amin nung mekaniko (who is actually a distant relative of ours) to repair it. There was a lot of debate whether we were ripped off in reviving this car. There were also a lot of drama / hissy fit / relative debacle but its over and we are all moving on.

I know that this is a big :shocked2: And will probably make you do

the price range of the different parts / services, is wide. it really depends on who and where the parts or services were obtained. some may say that you may have been ripped off, while others may say the price is about right. in my opinion, if you are happy and the car runs well, then you were not ripped off.
many "accountants" fail to account for the labor. labor includes actual work time, waiting time, decision-making, worrying.

The prices given to you seems fair considering that it's a Honda. Quite expensive, yes.. You can get a cheaper quote outside, yes... but if the car runs well right now & if the process didn't give you any headache (for example when parts are needed, mekaniko na maghanap not you) then I guess it's all worth it.

Just wondering though, why does the stereo cost you 15k? Unless of course it's a high-end 1-din then it's fine, pero kung repair lang ng OEM... something's fishy. Hehe.
