    Hi Mga Sir.

New here sa tsikot.com. I've been looking for a pre-owned car, and until now undecided pa din ako (This would be our 1st car). Wala ako msyadong alam sa mga technical specs,FC,etc ng mga cars na pinagpipilian ko. Mga Sir, tulong nmn magdecide. My budget is aroung 150k - 300k. idsi, civic or altis?

    Thank you mga Sir.

With your budget i will go waith a manual transmission para less headache. Matic is also ok as long as sariwa talaga at well mentain yung oto. First choice ko altis then civic. Iwas ka sa idsi jazz or city na matic kasi dami ng nasisiraan ngayon with that age of the car. Mahal kaya pagawa.

If all you want is a reliable and fuel efficient car which all mechanics are familiar with, with parts that are dirt cheap and can be found anywhere then I suppose the Altis is the way to go. It is also very nice to dress up should you feel like it.

Why not a vios instead of the city idsi? I think a vios is cheaper to maintain. The idsi uses 2 spark plugs per cylinder so doble pa gastos when it comes to that. The vios looks better too. But since youve reached the 300k mark i suggest saving a little more so you can stretch your budget to be able to get a civic fd. With some patience and good negotiating skills you can get one at 350k. Imo, its the best looking civic. But anyways, the altis is nice too. I regularly check vios and altis prices for a friend and halos pareho sila ng price kahit magkayear model pa. Taas kasi ng resale value ng vios.

Mag I-dsi ka na lang sobrang tipid sa gas. Benta ko ung sa akin. He,he. Just kidding!
How old are you na ba? Since it will be your first car, sa tingin ko matetemp ka na pagandahin to.
I would suggest that you get a civic kc madali din naman hanapan ng pyesa.

Haha. nk-idsi ka ba boss? anyway, 27 na ako sir. i have a 1 1/2 year old baby boy din. alam mu yun sir, we are residing at Fairview(my wife's residence), pero tga-manila talaga ako. So, para lang hindi maubos energy namin everyday dahil sa pakikipagtulakan sa MRT, we decided to buy a car. car that we can use everyday for work, tapos ung convenience ng pagpunta nmin sa manila during weekends sa side ko, para din comfortable si baby. yan mga factors im considering in buying sir.

The Vios is rather cramped, both in cabin and trunk space. Performance, durability and fuel efficiency are fine though. If you are single and are looking for a mere appliance, then this would be good for you.

Otherwise I'd suggest something at least the size of an Altis. Since you have a baby, that means lots of stuff. And then when you have a toddler and another baby, that'll be loads of stuff!

And then, would it be hard for your wife to learn how to drive a manual? I've encountered many ladies who are quite skilled with the stick. I believe that would be a better choice than being limited to matic cars.

Kung kasya naman yung stroller (if you use one) sa trunk ng vios. Ok na yun. Medyo malayo ata yung work mo. Im assuming na makati banda kasi mrt. If so, vios talaga boto ko. Kasi masmatipid lalo na pagtraffic compared to bigger cars. Pero bagay sana sayo civic na SiR body. Pogi basta fresh pa ang paint at lowered and bagong wheels. Btw, may park and ride scheme sa trinoma. I think its still better than driving all the way. Tipid ka pa sa gas at masmabilis
