they're used items.

read carefully po their conditiones of sale.
from what i recall, the items are on "as-is-where-is" basis. there is no guarantee of any sort, regarding the condition of the car.
if there is something glaringly wrong with the car that they know of, they will tell you. aside from that, "caveat emptor".
they're auctioneers, not mechanics.

if one knows how to size up cars, this may be a good place to source for bayan sellers.
