Yup. but the service center in CASA tells otherwise... been there, done that. That's why in choosing cars, I always look on the PMS schedule/cost as one of my top priority.
Toyota, Mitsubishi, Suzuki,Subaru and majority of Chinese brands still follows the 5k/3months PMS interval.
Honda, Nissan, Chevy and Ford follows the 10k/6months.
    VW follows 15k/1year.

The discounts alone offset this and the fuel costs.

    from mitsu website:

    LIGHT PMS 5, 15, 25, 35, 45, 55, 65, 75, 85, 95x 1,000 km. or every 3 months
    ridiculous PM schedule

i just opened up my 15yo engine which had 10k/6mo oil change schedule. super clean, and my dipstick oil level doesn't change at all. i think a yearly oil change is "sufficient" for normal driving i.e. non-severe driving

Nope! That’s mandatory if you want your warranty. Nakastipulate na nga sa booklet di pa rin mandatory?

well marami pa rin fans ng 5k/3mo schedule kahit dito sa tsikot. you'll be surprised

so if you're a business you'd be stupid not to take advantage of willing victims LOL

Until warranty claims arouse. Be it may, let’s just agree to disagree.

Yep! That’s part of our economy. Sayang nga lang yung extra resources na nagagamit due to business reasons...

yep that's why i really avoid buying those brands you mentioned yung suzuki btw, 4mo interval, a little less evil LOL

kulang kasi tayo sa consumer education. people would rather believe what i like to call "oral traditions" when it's clearly written in the manual that OCI is 10k/6mo and doesn't even specify fully-synthetic

Di pa narelease eh, baka within two days pa. Haven't really thought about PMS costs but oo nga no, Every 5k nga yata PMS sa Mitsu. Nasanay kasi kami na every 10k or sa labas na lang PMS. How long ba yung warranty ng mitsubishi?

3 years yan. Nagkamitsu na kami dati. (Lancer cedia circa 2009). Medyo mahal compared sa toyota but flexible naman ng unti. After 3 years, sa suki na akong shop/talyer. Pero nakapagclaim din ako warranty (locking mechanism sa rear left door) dun chineck nila kung regular ako nagppms sa kanila. Kaya kung hahabol ka warranty claim, be sure n sumusunod ka sa pms sched.

Got my Strada a few days ago. NVH is actually better in the Strada compared to the Navara. Comfy sya in terms of turning radius and light steering. Mas mabigat pa and matagtag yung fortuner namin
