Thank you for this. I have contacted her/him. Hopefully, it's still available.

PS: I didn't know that we can search in a specific thread ("search thread" at the top right corner)

EDIT: Saw his past chats and it looks like he's in Davao. I'm in Metro Manila.

I'm looking at the price of it and it's in the 2012-2013 year. I'll try to convince my mom. Thank you for the suggestion.

Sadly, when I was researching about cars, people always say to stay away from Nissan (JATCO) CVT.

Here are our choices (suggest something if you think it's okay)

    1. Toyota Corolla 2015-2016 Automatic
    - 550-650k
    - Toyota but according to Corolla 11th gen thread, there is a dashboard rattling sound problem

    2. Hyundai Elantra 2017-2018 Automatic
    - 550-600k
    - Like Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Elantra has little features
    - Not sure about the maintenance cost.
    - I read here that instead of going to CASA, banawe people can do the works in case something goes wrong. Is this true? Nakakatakot kasi na baka after 2-3 years tapos masira ito e baka pahirapan naman ayusin

    3. Volkswagen Jetta 2016 Automatic
    - 550-600k
    - Taxi driver suggested this because it's a diesel.
    - Considering that there are no more Jettas being sold in the Philippines, will it be hard to fix the car when something goes wrong?

EDIT: I didn't include Honda Civic because of how much expensive they are. Grabe sobrang mahal na nga bumili ng second hand car dito sa Pilipinas pero yung Honda cars talaga ay nasa ibang level

Try mo iconsider Mitsubishi Mirage or Kia Rio subok ko na mga sedan na yan.

Common, guys, TS is looking for a compact. Why would you suggest a car 2 sizes down? An Altis or Jetta or Civic is way better than a Mirage or Wigo or Rio.

it may look two sizes down, but one has to actually get inside it, to find out whether it suits their space needs or not.
if one is as big as me, yes, every cm of space counts.
but for folks that are not large naman, which is probably what 90% of the population is, compared to me, a smaller car may probably work fine for them.
i fit fine in the wigo.

There’s a reason why others wanted a bigger car as they value comfort. If one needs a daily commuter to bring you from A to B at minimum cost, then the smallest car will do.

However, TS is looking for a comfortable car for his Mom and they know what they want. I would want to get a Mirage or Wigo if I were in his place too.

BUMP for this thread. Planning to buy 2nd hand cars in the Philippines also. As of now napupusuan ko talaga yung honda civic kaso baka pang 2nd hand lang yung maafford namin so my question is:

1.) Ano masusuggest nyong 2nd hand car na sedan? Seeing the price of honda civic, medyo dikit din price sa brand new. Usually for daily usage lang mga ka-tsikot. Salamat sa sasagot
