    6+ km/L from a 2.0L turbo gas doing 240hp/360Nm and lots of space for 7 people is acceptable. It is much quicker and faster also compared to the Fortuner.

    How about a Pajero instead? Maybe you can get a used 2010-2012 Pajero diesel around that price.

    Take note that it is mixed driving though. I honestly doubt it can do 5-6 in pure city driving.

    As mentioned, I'd suggest springing for the 4x4 variant, or perhaps a Montero GTV, and spend the rest on mods. [emoji38]
