Hi ako rin po sana mag papa suggest ng new car.
22 yrs old single po at pang all around lang ang target ko. Possible na pang gala ko lang sya sa mga travel bucket list namin ni SO.

And pang convenient na pamamalengke or kung saan man. Baka hindi ko rin mgamit pamasok kase medyo mahal parking sa bgc at gas from my home ( caloocan )

Under 1million po sana or much better ba 2nd hand? I am not sure

But i can pay under 18k all in monthly sa amortization + insurance

And sa down payment mga under 150k kaya ko ilabas.

    Eto mga nagandahan ako:
    City RS 1.5
    Civic SE
    Mazda 2
    Vios

di ko po type mga hatchback prang walang dating sakin.

    Thanks

Sir, a car worth 800k pasok sa pang down mo ng 160k * 20% DP, dag2 ka na lang ng kunti... pero you have to settle it for 4-5 years if you will budget 18k per month... hut for 3 years, it’s around 21k ang per month...

i’m telling you this bec it seem that you’re on tight budget and to avoid yung mga low DP high monthly payment scheme which is madami na rin nagka problema sa pagbabayad...

So anong car ba jan ang worth 800k? Dun na ako mag aadjust sa choice of car ko... goodluck. Hope it helps.

My 2 cents, go for 2nd hand. Pay in full, then go crazy on mods. Being that this will be your first, a 2nd hand car will be a great platform for you to learn, be it proper maintenance, DIY stuff or road safety.

Dont get fooled by low down payment/monthly amortization... These are just marketing ploy. Also, you may have a stable income now, but you'll never know what will happen in 3 to 5 years' time.

18k/ month budget is a bit too tight, if I'm being honest. You have to consider gas, parking and maintenance. Even if you plan on using the car mostly on weekends, you may find your self having a difficult time with your budget.

Go with the type of car that will suit your lifestyle the most. Compact sedan can be a good choice for you: tipid sa gas, cheaper maintenance compared to bigger sized cars. If you chose to go the 2nd hand route, Toyota is selling certified pre-owned cars (search it on facebook/ google). They also accept bank loans.

Sana naka tulong mga payong tito ko. Good luck, bro!

my vote goes to a not-so-basic vios or city, with the vios edging the other out just slightly.

my sour-grapes justification favoring more basic models is, "the less parts, the less parts to go wrong or malfunction".
but if an affordable diesel innova magically presents itself, grab it.

but you should test-drive each candidate, first.
no sense in getting a car you're not comfortable being in.

    good luck.

Ayaw niya daw ng sasakyan na walang dating. He's too young for an Innova. Let him enjoy his youth hehe

    btw,
my son enjoys his innova. "matibay and requires almost no maintenance. oil and filter change, and annual LTO."

When I was in college. I also loved my dad's Tamaraw FX

Modified yung Lancer ko noon to a point where masakit na sa bulsa yung gas consumption nya.

Tamaraw FX can even sit idle sa parking with the A/C on!
