October 24th, 2013 04:03 PM #1Hello Tsikoteers,
Need your opinions lang. I am planning to have my 1st car around December/January and since wala akong masyadong alam sa cars, I prefer brand new para di sakit sa ulo.
My choices are Fiesta Trend, Vios 1.3E and Almera M/T. My preferences are as follows:
a) Fuel efficiency – daily commute from home to office with occasional out of town trips
b) Fun and comfortable - malayo kasi ng inuuwian ko (Angono<->Ayala) so ang haba ng oras sa biyahe
c) Durable and easy to maintain
d) Ok siya uphill, madaming steep roads sa area namin
*External looks and resale value are not my priority, plan ko din gamitin ng matagal
It’s my first time here and I hope you can help me.
Open ako sa any suggestions na bagay sa single pero medyo matipid tulad ko

Vios for me. Tried and tested na vios with ease of maintenance. Fuel consumption is good, decent riding comfort.

a) Fuel efficiency – daily commute from home to office with occasional out of town trips = Vios
b) Fun and comfortable - malayo kasi ng inuuwian ko (Angono<->Ayala) so ang haba ng oras sa biyahe = Vios
c) Durable and easy to maintain = Vios
d) Ok siya uphill, madaming steep roads sa area namin = Vios
*External looks and resale value are not my priority, plan ko din gamitin ng matagal = Vios pa din. Toyota's would usually command higher resale values as compared to other brands.
If you're a lady, I would recommend you get an automatic.

Vios syempre by default it usually wins most of anyone's criteria. If you wanna deviate a bit, id get a fiesta hatchback. Looks best to me. The sedan though not so much. Ang weird talaga ng likod for me. Mukhang ipis. Takot pa naman ako sa ipis. Haha. If space and comfort is a really big deal, id seriously consider an almera. Ang laki ng loob. Parang compact car yung laki nya hindi subcompact. Mukha rin syang malaki rin talaga from the outside.
Ngayon ko lang nabasa na single ka pala. So crossout mo na yung almera. You dont need the space. Fiesta hatchback nalang sir. Chicks will dig it. Power to weight ratio, pinakamalakas talaga yung fiesta. So +1 for that.Last edited by Mikemike07; October 24th, 2013 at 10:13 PM.
