February 18th, 2025 08:32 AM #2i got my replacement plates for my EP 5 last year. i was informed to pick it up when i renewing registration at the extension branch. i was told to go to xxx LTO branch, without explanation. of course natakot ako! baka may issue yung kotse... . yun pala, my new plates were for pick up.
i still have to get my replacement plates for my EP 3, and my EP 0.
my theory is,
when the court declared the contract illegal, my 3 was already en route or had just landed in the pier. my guess is, they're still in the pier.
my 5 however, was probably manufactured here.
and my 0 is probably still to be manufactured, siguro...
i'm not in a hurry.
the old plates seemed.. more photogenic.Last edited by dr. d; February 18th, 2025 at 08:35 AM.

February 18th, 2025 04:46 PM #7I assume having a valid registration is now just an additional gotcha in case you get caught for some other violation.
They can't even police having proper plates, with all the LAWYER, MAYOR, and SCHOLAR on the streets.
