AFAIK walang computer box ito, yung Grand Starex TCI ang meron. Not sure though. It'll be best to get a manual if you can live with it. The matic gives poor gas mileage. I knew someone who has a 2000 Starex Club A/T. We went to Baguio together once, (the Starex was fully loaded with 10 people and with baggage on the roof) its got no punch and it managed to drain the whole tank of diesel in just one trip! This van isn't particularly known for any issues so just make sure it isn't laspag and most importantly, check for rust. Test drive it in varied road conditions to hear or any weird sounds from the engine or suspension kalampag and bring a skilled mechanic with you just to make sure.

during test drive, how would i know if the auto trans is picking up well? what should be the minimum rpm to shift from 1st gear to 2nd? 3rd and up to overdrive?
