May 18th, 2023 11:03 AM #2test-drive them, po, and see which you prefer to drive.
i have a 2003 altis with over 120K km on the odometer, that drives very well despite its age. only ordinary wear-and-tear maintenance.
my one gripe, is the driver's position. medyo cramped.
colleagues with a honda city, say it's a good car.
as in everything pre-owned, "caveat emptor".
if you do not know how to size up a used car, have someone knowledgeable in the art, go along with you, or hire a mekaniko and bring him with you.
so, what is the single most fatal factor to fear, when buying a used car?
"yung carnapped."
kasi, everything else can be fixed.
good luck, po.
btw,
don't always fall for the line, "heto lang problem niya,... but that can be easily fixed."
my issue with that, is "if it can be easily fixed, why don't you fix it and then demand a higher price for the car?"
but then, this is something only those who have such things fixed on their cars, will appreciate and judge.
I ran some numbers before buying our Zenix hybrid... If fuel costs lang, there's no way for me...
